A Great Northern 2-8-2 heavy Mikado in downtown Wayzata MN in the final steam runs of 1957. Its by Sunsets eatery on Lake Minnetonka and ready to pass the Wazata depot in 300 ft. There were still 75 GN steam engines running on the GN with the fall grain rush of 1957, the end of steam on the GN. The train is on the westbound mainline headed to Wilmar MN yard. The building on left is where Chico's is now in Wayzata.
