Title:  PC E8A #255 - Penn Central
Description:  Originally built by EMD in April of 1947 as NYC E7A #4020, it was rebuilt by EMD into an E8A unit. It became part of the PRR/NYC merger roster first as PC E8A #4020 and later as PC #255 seen here in passenger service. I believe it moved over to the Amtrak roster at a later date. This is a Paul Kuehner action photo.

Description:  Heading up a 5 car passenger train is Penn Central E8A #259. Originally built by EMD in September of 1951 as NYC E8A #4041, it was caught in the PRR/NYC merger to form Penn Central as their #259. Later it moved over to the Amtrak roster when PC went bankrupt.
