Title:  Great Northern on the Minneapolis, MN Stone Arch bridge.
Description:  This is a double tracked bridge built by the GN in the 1880s by James J. Hill for the GN and was used by several railroads in Minneapolis to cross the Mississippi River and get access to the Mpls main depot. This was double tracked and used up until the 1980s under the BN. Its now a walking path. Minneapolis was the largest grain milling operations center in the world up to the 1950s.
