Meadows. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide via Al Chione that was taken at the Pennsylvania Railroad's Engine Service Tracks at Meadows Yard near Kearny, New Jersey, on 16 January 1958. The photographer is not identified. Shown here (R to L) are PRR engines #4942 and five more units whose numbers are not recorded. The first two units are E-2B (B-B) electrics built by General Electric and rated at 2,500 horsepower each. #4942 was built during June of 1951 and retired in June of 1965 after just 14 years of revenue service.
