MCTA GP9 908
Title:  MCTA GP9 908
Description:  Minnesota Central Railroad GP9 908 shortly after crossing the White River at Cotter, Arkansas on November 30, 2000, Kodachrome by Chuck Zeiler. This was the last run of the White River Scenic Railway's tourist train, headed by leased 908. I was in the cab of 908 on the second to last run and heard a loud BANG and the locomotive shuttered. I shot a startled look at the Engineer who commented, 'Just making transition'.
