Description:
Chicago Burlington & Qugncy Railroad F7 166A eastbound on a foggy day at Eola, Illinois on February 7, 1965, Ektachrome by Chuck Zeiler. This locomotive was built in March 1950 (c/n 9695) on EMD Order 3021A and traded to EMD for credit on an order of SD45's in February 1969. On the left are the leads to the Austin-Western plant and scale. The Austin-Western plant in Eola produced a varitey of construction equipment, including 30 cubic yard air dump maintencece cars, which the CB&Q purchased.
