Description:
Looking almost like a Marx CP 3000 model train is this sleek CP 4-4-4 #2927. Built by the Canadian Locomotive Company in February of 1938, the loco lasted until being disposed in June of 1957. Specs - Serial #1941, F-1a class, 75" drivers, impressive 300 psi boiler pressure, 16.5x28" cylinders, engine weight of 240,000 lb, tractive effort of 25,918 lb. Unfortunately, no date, location or photographer was listed for the photo.

This iconic Canadian Pacific 4-4-4 Jubilee type steam locomotive is showing some wear already in this photo taken by J.R. Quinn while it sat in the Oshawa, Ontario, yard. Built by the Canadian Locomotive Company in February of 1938, the loco served in passenger and freight until retirement in June of 1957 after 19 years.
