When GM bought Electromotive Corporation (EMC) it became a division of GM and thus EMD. Only CB&Q had E5s. All were stainless steel. Other roads had E6s which were the same without the stainless. Date and location unknown

River Gabbert General This could be Kansas City Union Station. CB&Q 9909 was assigned to the Silver Streak Zephyr for most of its career between 1940 and 1959 which ran from Lincoln, Nebraska to Kansas City, Missouri on the Silver Streak Zephyr daily service. 4/10/2023 10:04:06 AM
