DMIR 2-8-8-4 #225 - Duluth, Missabe & Iron Range         
This loco is one of the 3 Yellowstone type steam locomotives that dodged the scrapper's torch. Built by Baldwin in May of 1941 (serial #62531), the loco was an impressive powerhouse used to move long drags of iron ore cars to Duluth and Two Harbors, MN. The loco was retired and donated to the Proctor Deevelopment Council where it was put on permanent display there. Specs - class M3, 63" drivers, 240 psi boiler pressure, 26x32" cylinders, engine weight of 695,040, tractive effort of 140, 000 lb. There was no date, location or photographer listed for this photo so an approximate date and location were used.
