From General Order No. 21: "With the next change of time-table, which will take place on Sunday, the 27th [1872], on the three divisions of the main line, and on Monday, the 28th [1872], on the branch road divisions, "PHILADELPHIA TIME" will be adopted as the standard time of the Pennsylvania Railroad." |
