| New Orleans Public Belt SW1500 152 was in the railroad’s COTTON WAREHOUSE YARD. The locomotive had been built in August 1971 and was overhauled by Birmingham Rail & Locomotive in 2001, at which time it received at larger fuel tank and was named MARDI GRAS. It was renumbered 1502 and lost its name in 2008, then it was retired in 2020 and sold to S&S Sales & Leasing as SSRX 1502. |
