Here is the Association of American Railroads' stock photo #3443. Caption On Reverse: "Pennsylvania Railroad streamlined multiple-cylinder steam locomotive, Type T-1." Shown here is PRR engine #6111, a T-1 (4-4-4-4) "Duplex" built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works during May of 1942 and retired in December of 1953 after just 11 years of revenue service. In this context, it's just crossed the Rockville Bridge with a passenger train on its way to Altoona and points West. Photo taken on 30 May 1945. The photographer's name is not recorded. John S.
