PRR 9682, EH-15, c. 1952         
Oil Power. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide of (R to L) Pennsylvania Railroad engine #9682 and two more units whose road numbers are not recorded. All were built by GM-EMD and rated at 1,500 horsepower each. #9682 was constructed as an EH-15 in February of 1949, rebuilt as an EF-15A, and retired in November of 1965 after just 16 years of revenue service. Note the "Helper Service" stripe on the cab door. The photographer's name, the exact date, and the location are not recorded.
