PRR Lewistown Vistas, #1 of 5, c. 1938
Burkey. Here is the first of five photos via Raymond Wolfgang that were taken near Lewistown, Pennsylvania, c. 1938. Prominent here is an unidentified Pennsylvania Railroad Class K-4S (4-6-2) "Pacific" steam locomotive pulling a passenger train out of Harrisburg that's bound for Altoona and points West. Visible at the left is a small portion of the left-to-right flowing Juniata River. (#3 of 25)
