Electrics. Here is a photo via Bob Lorenz that was taken in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, c. 1962. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #4750, a P-5A (Modified) electric built by Baldwin-Westinghouse in March of 1935, rated at 3,750 horsepower, and retired in August of 1962 after 27 years of service. (Gift from Brad Mann.)
