Portraits 5. Here is a steam locomotive portrait via F.R. Kern that was taken in Canton, Ohio, c. 1938. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #7641, a B-28S (0-6-0) switcher built by the American Locomotive Company during November of 1918 and retired in August of 1948 after 30 years of faithful service. It was designed by the United States Railroad Administration during the height of World War I. (#9 of 40)
