PRR 2897, H-9S, 1957         
Camden. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide via Al Chione that was taken in Camden, New Jersey, on 24 June 1957. The photographer is not identified. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #2897, an H-9S (2-8-0) "Consolidated" built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works as an H-8B during November of 1910, rebuilt in Juniata as an H-8SB, rebuilt as an H-9S in August of 1923, and retired in October of 1957 after 47 years of faithful service.
