| This beefy 2-8-2 Mikado was built by the Montreal Locomotive Works in 1913 originally as GTR 591 but landed on the CN roster as 3496 in 1923. Specs - serial #53961, class S-1-f, 63" drivers, 175 psi boiler pressure, 27x30" cylinders, engine weight of 272,100 lb, tractive effort of 51,638 lb. The loco was scrapped in February of 1960.
