Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide via Al Chione that was taken in Chicago, Illinois, on 11 August 1956. The photographer is not identified. Shown here (R to L) are Pennsylvania Railroad engines #9296 and another "FS" Class unit whose number is not recorded. Both are FS-10 road switchers built by Fairbanks-Morse and rated at 1,000 horsepower each. #9296 was built in April of 1949 and retired in March of 1967 after just 18 years of revenue service.
