"A Ride In The Cab Of A GG-1," Page 18, 1947
Here is page three of a five-page article by Eric A. Grubb entitled "A Ride In The Cab Of A GG-1." It was published originally in the October 1947 issue of "Trains" magazine, page 18. Partial Caption: "Westbound train emerges from Homestead Portal at west end of Hudson River tunnels. Tracks are signaled for both directions." The road number of the GG-1 (2-C-C-2) electric pictured here is not recorded. Also notable is a map showing the PRR's tracks between New York City and Philadelphia.
