Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #6939, an M-1 (4-8-2) "Mountain" built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works during November of 1926 and retired in May of 1957 after 31 years of faithful service. In this context, it's passing by the Englewood Passenger Station with an eastbound mixed-cargo freight train. |
