PRR 9622, AF-16, 1962         
Oil Power. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide of a photo by Rodney Peterson that was taken near Pitcairn, Pennsylvania, on 7 October 1962. Shown here (L to R) are Pennsylvania Railroad engines #9622 and #9665. #9622 is an AF-16 built by the American Locomotive Works in November of 1951, rated at 1,600 horsepower, and retired in January of 1967. #9665 is an EF-15A constructed by GM-EMD in February of 1950, rated at 1,500 horsepower, and retired in February of 1965.
