Prophet. Here is the second of three duplicate 35mm color slides of a photos by John M. Prophet III that were taken in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, on 24 July 1949. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #5544, a T-1 (4-4-4-4) "Duplex" built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works during July of 1946 and retired in January of 1956 after just ten years of service. |
