Switchman Images General Sharon is on the WTNN, not the KWT. Could these have been at Bruceton? 3/7/2020 11:44:39 PM
Stephen Gose General Being that this engine does not have any history info in the data base, a couple immediate features points this to being one of the original Norfolk Southern Rwy (short line) GP18s: the twin top hat style roof fans and the late model fuel tank/air tank configuration. It currently has a straight chopped low short hood, but the NS Rwy GP18s had their factory slanted low short hoods converted to high hoods by the Southern. So if this is one of the original NS Rwy GP18s, it’s on its third good configuration. If anybody can maybe try and do a frame check? Not many of the NS Rwy GP18s are remaining. 4/8/2020 10:09:01 PM
Stephen Gose General Forgot to add, Southern added the paper air filter box, as well. 4/8/2020 10:10:28 PM
