| Horseshoe Curve-1966. Here is an original photo that I took at the Pennsylvania Railroad's Horseshoe Curve near Altoona, Pennsylvania, during mid-May of 1966. Shown here are two PRR eastbound freight trains. The one on the inner track is a merchandiser, while the one on the outer track is mixed cargo. Included among the "mixed cargo" are two EMD engines: one switcher and one road unit. |
