Pushing past the team tracks  Contributor's Pick!
An Oyster Bay train pushes through Queens Village on its way to Jamaica. At left is the Queens Village team yard, an anachronism on most railroads by this time, but a place where cars could be unloaded by consignees without a siding of their own, not unusual in the city. By this time it was used mostly by MOW crews, but still got revenue cars.
