Amtrak 9992 at Michigan City, Indiana on July 12, 1982, Kodachrome by Chuck Zeiler. According to the book, Amtrak By The Numbers, Number 9992 was built by Pullman-Standard in 1947 as AT&SF baggage-dormitory 3479. The high-level adapter was added in 1956. It was retired by Amtrak in October 1981. |
