This is a Rio Grande trackage rights train approaching Wagstaff Kansas on the ex Mopac line to Colorado, which DRGW used to access connections at KC as part of the conditions of the UP-MP-WP merger. The scene is one that epitomizes prairie railroading-long view, long train, long line of code line poles into the distance. |
