An eastbound merchandise train approaches Syracuse, passing the Blue Circle plant. The two traling units are C30-7A's, a Conrail only unit that developed 3000 HP from a 12 cylinder power plant. The 50 units in the group were based in Syracuse and seen systemwide, but were a staple on the B&A. |
