EL 7144 has some work behind it. The fireman is looking for a signal.  Contributor's Pick!
EL had 44 A units and 33 B units. Various cosmetic and internal changes cause some confusion as to whether the unit is an F3 or F7. I welcome any corrections that you can make, thanks in advance.

Tom Beckett General Erie got some F3's late in production that were unofficially "F5". They had some engineering improvements over the initial F3's, but were done before the F7 was officially announced. The ELHS can give you chapter and verse on that stuff, but the proper classification of Erie F units is an area of much discussion and debate. 5/11/2012 1:37:02 PM
