Not sure why, but these two locomotives were trailing a lead locomotive followed by two "Rocky Mountaineer" passenger coaches.

Aivo Merimets General They're trailing because the HEP (electrical) connections on the RMR equipment and VIA equipment are not compatible. So to ensure that the VIA coaches have HEP, the RMR equipment is placed between the locomotives so that one of the trailing locomotives provides HEP to the VIA coaches.. 8/8/2011 11:46:53 AM
