A common sight in the late 60s and 70s. The Bucksport Local crossing the river from Brewer into Bangor. In these days if the Alcos didn't handle this job then the SWs did. During the 50s it was a just a pair but with increased production at St.Regis in Bucksport 2 became 3 on most trips. We saw geeps as well but these guys were the most common. |
