| After switching out the lead unit, UP Train LMR38 20 heads down the KCT at the Gooseneck. The lead unit is a substitute for UP 2079, which quit running before the train left UP Neff Yard. The 3rd unit, is UP 1988, and is headed for RELCO in Albia, IA. It will be interchanged to the CP at Liberty which forwarded it to Albia. It is headed up there for a partial repaint to repair damage suffered by the paint on the engine hood after a fire in June. |
