It was my birthday today, and what better way to celebrate my birthday with a little train watching? Something that had been on my radar for quite some time was RJ Cormans "Warwick Turn" job based out of Dover, OH. Going to catch that, however, meant waking up very early to make a just over 200 mile drive east. I am no stranger to making these long days, however, so thats exactly what I did. I arrived in the Brewster area right around sunrise, and knowing that I wouldnt have to be in Dover for about another hour and a half, I decided to sit in Brewster and wait on some Wheeling traffic. It didnt take long before I heard a defect detector go off on the Rook Subdivision and my eyes were greeted to an eclectic mix of former leaser power on inbound WE 213. |
