| A trio of freshly-painted Seaboard System U-Boats - U33B 5624 and U36B's 5773 and 5752 - power an eastbound United States Lines stack train towards the railroad's Gentilly Yard on the east side of New Orleans. The train originated on the Missouri Pacific in Houston as train XHOAV and is bound for Savannah, Georgia. At Gentilly Yard it will become SBD train 202. SBD - and later CSX - power usually ran all the way from Savannah to Houston and then back to New Orleans, where the locomotives would be replaced by freshly-serviced units. The train was discontinued in late 1986 after U.S. Lines entered bankruptcy. |
