Title:  MILW 53
Description:  In 1951 the Milwaukee Road ordered ten full-length dome cars from Pullman Standard Co. for delivery in 1952, Dubbed "Super Domes" by the railroad, they were the first of their kind ever built. Numbered 50-59 each car had 68 forward facing seats in the dome and a 28 seat café on the lower level. Ex-NCDOT 400301 Mount Mitchell, exx-C&NW 421 Powder River, exxx-Golden Arrow, exxxx-Rail Travel Associates, exxxxx-Great Western Tours, exxxxxx-VIA 2701, exxxxxxx-CN 2701, exxxxxxxx-CN 2401 Athabasca, nee-MILW. Bought by "Friends of the 261" in 2005 on Ebay!
