CRIP 4-8-2 #4047 - Chicago, Rock Island & Pacific
Title:  CRIP 4-8-2 #4047 - Chicago, Rock Island & Pacific
Description:  Here is a beautiful builder's photo of an Alco built Mountain-type locomotive for the Rock Island line. Interesting to note is the Worthington Company eventually acquired Alco in 1964, long after its railroading heyday was over, only to go defunct in 1969.
