Description:  Built by the Canadian Foundry in Toronoto, ON, Canada in 1914 as CGR #262, it was renumbered CN 2396 in 1919 after the railroad merger. It was scrapped in September of 1955. No location, date or photographer was given for the photo.

Description:  This 2-8-0 Consolidation was built by the Canada Foundry of Toronto ON, in 1912 originally as Canadian Northern Rwy #2408. The loco was renumbered CN 2408 in 1919 when the roster was merged into CN. Specs - serial #941, class N-1-ab. The loco was retired and scrapped in August of 1957. Description:  Here is Canadian National 2-8-0 Consolidation #2751 in action heading up a freight train near Hinton, Alberta, Canada. This loco is a rarer Consolidation as it was one of group of only 20 built by the CN's own Transcona shops in August of 1931. CN 2-8-0 #2751 served for nearly 30 years before it was scrapped in December of 1961. Specxs - 63" drivers, impressive 250 psi boiler pressure, 20x30" cylinders, engine weight of 233,870 lb, tractive effort of 40,476 lb. No photographer was listed for this photo.
