Description:  Proud Illinois Central engineer poses with his unique 0-6-0 #3285 shop switcher at the IC yard in Nonconnah, TN. No date or photographer given for the photo but the loco was on the 1947 IC roster. Number 3285 was built by Schenectady Locomotive Works in June 1891 (c/n 3493) as Newport News & Mississippi Valley #506, becoming IC #192 in 1896, renumbered IC #198, then #200, rebuilt in November 1918 as #3285, receiving a new boiler in the rebuilding process. It was later sold to Pan American Southern Corp., Destrehan, Louisiana.
