Title:  SLSF 2-8-0 #1216 - St Louis - San Francisco
Description:  Built by Burnham, Wms & Co (Baldwin predecessor) in March of 1907, Frisco #1216 first served on the subsidiaries CSNO&P and NOTM. The Baldwin records show it was on the Frisco books through 3/1/1947 before disappearing after that. It was listed in the dead line at Springfield, MO in July of 1948. Interesting that it still has its bell and light with the smoke stack covered even now. Specs - coal burner, 57" drivers, 200 psi boiler pressure, 22x30" cylinders, engine weight of 198,000 lb, tractive effort of 43,300 lb. Arthur B. Johnson photo
