Delivered to Milwaukee Road as GP40 182 in February 1968, to MILW 2002, becoming SOO 2002 upon the Soo Line merger in 1985. After retirement by Soo this GP40 became NREX 2002 then was purchased by KCS and renumbered 4736 for a soon to be launched GP40-3 rebuild program. Since this photo KCS 4736 is now off the roster, current disposition unknown. |
