WB. Here is an image of a photo by an unidentified photographer that was taken at the 19th Street Grade Crossing in Altoona, Pennsylvania, in December of 1965. Partially visible here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #6025, an EF-25A built by GM-EMD in April of 1965 and rated at 2,500 horsepower. Looks to me like it's servicing the industrial sidings on the Hollidaysburg Branch line. Note the Crossing Gate Tower ~ a great vantage point during the Age of Steam! William E. Burket Collection. |
