Description:  Blairsville. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide of a photo by Fred McLeod that was taken in Blairsville, Pennsylvania, during September of 1953. Shown here are two Pennsylvania Railroad steam engines parked near the Blairsville Roundhouse. On the left is a J-1 (2-10-4) "Texas." On the right is PRR engine #7145, an H-10S (2-8-0) "Consolidated" built during November of 1913 and retired in May of 1954. This photo comes from a color slide set entitled "Pennsy Steam Locomotives" that's produced and distributed by Blackhawk Films of Davenport, Iowa (109-12).
