SOO 4-6-0 #2652 - Minneapolis, St Paul & Sault Ste Marie
Title:  SOO 4-6-0 #2652 - Minneapolis, St Paul & Sault Ste Marie
Description:  Built by the Brooks Locomotive Works just before the company joined the ALCO coalition in 1901, it was originally Wisconsin Central 4-6-0 #254 ten wheeler but was renumbered after the WC merged officially into the Soo Line. The original photo has some mold issues that I couldn't clean up, hence the "fuzzy clumps". Specifics - serial #3709, nee-WC #254, class E-25, 57" drivers, 200 psi boiler pressure 20x26" cylinders, engine weight of 158,000 lb, tractive effort of 31,018 lb. No date or location was given for the photo by Leslie Truesdel, the photographer.
