This is a nice color slide taken by Michael A. Tedesco while the unit was an active player on the Jones & Laughlin Steel propery in Aliquippa, PA. Only 797 S4's were built by Alco between 1950-57. Not sure if this JLSX S4 #107 was an original purchase or purchased later secondhand. Does anyone know the history behind this switcher and its disposition? |
